Pure Intention Services offers Diagnostic Assessments as a comprehensive 3-part package tailored for Adult individuals who suspect they may be autistic and/or have ADHD but have not yet received a formal diagnosis. This package includes three key components:

Initial Consultation: A 60-minute session to openly discuss concerns, experiences, and goals.

Clinical Interview and Assessment: A thorough 120-minute evaluation to delve into neurodivergent traits, strengths, challenges, and any co-occurring conditions.

Feedback Session with Detailed Report: A 60-minute feedback session where findings are discussed, and a comprehensive report with tailored recommendations for next steps is provided.

  • Investment: Our comprehensive evaluation is offered at $800, significantly more affordable than the market average of $2,350. This ensures that clients receive an in-depth, high-quality assessment without the financial strain typically associated with these services.

  • Flexible Payment Options: To make this investment even more accessible, we offer payment plans that allow the fee to be split into four manageable installments. This approach helps alleviate upfront financial burdens while still ensuring that individuals can move forward with their evaluation.

Our goal is to remove the barriers to care and provide access to professional, compassionate assessments in a way that aligns with our commitment to social justice. Regardless of financial circumstances, we strive to empower all individuals with the support they need to thrive.

What to Expect

  • Consultation begins with an open and understanding discussion about your experiences and the reasons behind seeking a diagnostic evaluation.

    In this 60-minute session, we'll explore your unique perspective and what has led you to consider neurodivergence. This initial meeting is essential for determining if further evaluation is the right path for you.

    It's crucial to recognize that accurate evaluations require consideration of potential co-occurring neurodivergent traits or other mental health conditions. Addressing these ensures that any diagnosis provided is as accurate and helpful as possible.

    What to Expect:

    • Exploration of your experiences: We'll start by listening to where you’re at with your lived experiences, questions, and any concerns, understanding them from your perspective.

    • Brief Assessment: Erica will conduct a brief assessment to understand your neurodivergent traits and rule out any other mental health conditions that might be influencing your experiences.

    • Answers and Clarification: Your questions and uncertainties will be addressed thoroughly, providing you with a clear understanding of the evaluation process and its implications.

    • Guidance on Next Steps: Based on our conversation, Erica will provide guidance on what comes next in the evaluation process. This might involve connecting you with a psychotherapist for mental health treatment, or scheduling for a comprehensive assessment.

    Our aim is to create a supportive and inclusive environment where your neurodivergent traits are understood and respected. Throughout the process, we're here to empower you and ensure that your needs are met with understanding and compassion.

    Total Client Time Investment: ~1 hour (60 minutes)

  • The assessment is a crucial step in understanding neurodivergent traits and behaviors. This 120-minute session combines self-administered and guided assessments to comprehensively evaluate your profile. Prepare by dedicating up to 60 minutes for self-administered assessments before meeting with Erica. Expect a thorough examination of your life experiences and neurodivergent criteria, culminating in insights into your strengths, challenges, and growth areas.

    What to Expect:

    • Guided clinical interview led by Erica utilizing evidence-based assessment measures such as the MIDGAS-2 and/or the DIVA-5.

    • Review of self-administered assessments to ensure accuracy and understanding of material assessed.

    • Unconditional Positive Regard. This is a safe place where the most authentic parts of you can be expressed without judgment. Come as you are.

    Our goal is to provide you with a supportive, enlightening, and an accurate diagnostic assessment experience, empowering you on your journey to self-awareness.

    Total Client Time Investment: ~3 hours (180 minutes)

  • The final appointment is 60-minute session centered around the diagnostic findings. Erica will discuss at length the results, recommendations, and resources and/or referrals relevant to your specific needs. During this session, you are encouraged to ask questions, take notes, and “pick Erica’s brain” on what the best plan of action is post-diagnosis.

    What to Expect:

    • Detailed report of diagnostic findings to include diagnosis, interpretation of assessment measurements, recommendations, and resources.

    • Time dedicated to answering your questions with a plan for what’s next.

    It is recommended that client’s provide their medical doctors and other relevant health care professionals with the diagnostic findings especially if you are pursuing reasonable accommodations within the workplace or school setting. This report is designed to be comprehensive to meet the robust criteria of diagnosis as outlined within the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5).
